    Apple’s iOS 26.1 Launch Expected This Week Followed By iOS 26.2 Beta Rollout: Report

    Apple is expected to release iOS 26.1 on November 3, followed by the first iOS 26.2 beta on November 4, according to Mark Gurman. While the iOS 26.1 update introduces a new Tinted option for the Liquid Glass feature, improving readability, the iOS 26.2 beta will likely focus on performance and stability, with major additions likely in later builds. Expected to roll out publicly in December, iOS 26.2 may include US passport support in Apple Wallet and end-to-end encryption for RCS messaging.
