A funeral procession was held in Rishon LeZion, central Israel, for Uriel Baruch, an Israeli hostage whose body was returned from Gaza under the recent ceasefire agreement. Baruch, 35, was confirmed killed during the October 7 Hamas attack and remained missing for 172 days before his remains were handed over. He leaves behind his wife, two children, parents, and siblings.
