    iPhone Air Designer Abidur Chowdhury Reportedly Quits Company for AI Startup

    Abidur Chowdhury, a key designer behind the first iPhone Air and the face of its launch video, has reportedly left Apple, marking another significant change within the company’s already shifting design organisation. His departure comes as the original iPhone Air struggles with weak demand and production pauses. Apple is currently said to be working on a second-generation version featuring upgraded hardware, though its launch has been delayed. The updated iPhone Air is now expected to debut in spring 2027 as part of a new staggered iPhone release strategy.
