    A new TD Cowen investor note contradicts earlier claims that Apple is cutting iPhone Air production. The firm reports that Apple’s plans remain unchanged, with 3 million units set for Q3 2025 and 7 million for Q4 2025, while overall iPhone 17 builds are projected at 54 million and 79 million, respectively. TD Cowen notes that production adjustments often reflect shifting demand, not weak sales. This outlook contrasts with a Nikkei Asia report suggesting Apple reduced iPhone Air output due to sluggish demand outside China.
