    In 1995, archaeologists unearthed a potsherd at Berenike bearing the Tamil-Brahmi text korrapuman. The TNSDA has joined the current season of excavations at the ancient port city on the Red Sea coast to identify more evidence of ancient trade links between the Tamils and the Romans
