    Axis Bank Q2 results: Net profit falls 26% to Rs 5,090 crore; operating profit dips as provisions rise

    In the latest financial report, Axis Bank revealed a 25.31% drop in its net profit for the September quarter, amounting to Rs 5,528 crore. This decline can be attributed to a hefty one-time provision of Rs 1,231 crore for crop loans. While the bank experienced a slight 2% increase in net interest income, this growth was tempered by tighter margins.
