In a significant legal development, Taeil, a former member of NCT, has had his three-and-a-half-year prison sentence for aggravated quasi-rape reaffirmed by the Seoul High Court. The appeals court rejected his pleas, keeping in place the original penalties which also include compulsory participation in sex offender rehabilitation programs and a prohibition on employment in related fields.
